Tomorrow night’s girls game against McAuley will be varsity only beginning at 6:00.
The Middle and High School Choir Concert is still scheduled for tonight at 7:30 in the Cafeteria. Students need to be there at 6:30.
PCHS students who have a C- or above in ALL classes, and have missed 14 or less blocks of time (classes) can be exempt from taking finals. All teachers have access to the exempt list if you want to ask them for your status. We cannot post the list on a public forum due to FERPA federal guidelines about student confidentiality.
Pierce City Schools are cancelled for Tuesday, December seventeenth due to unsafe road conditions. Special Note, The Superintendents Office will be open from 8 am to 5 pm for Board Candidate Filing. Call 417-476-2555 with any questions tomorrow.
Tonight’s girls game @ East Newton has been cancelled but will be made up at a later date.
Due to the National Weather Service forecast of snow and sleet, Pierce City will not have school today.

JH girls basketball tonight @ Avilla will be 1 game only and will begin at 6:00.

JH girls basketball vs Lockwood will be played on Monday, 11/25 at 5:00. The HS boys & girls basketball chili scrimmage will follow.
We will be sending a pep bus to Thayer on Friday that will be leaving at 3:30. Admission to the game will be $5 and it will cost $3 to ride the bus. Students in grades 9-12 will need to sign up and pay in the office by 1:00 Thursday.

Tonight’s football against Ash Grove will begin at 7:00. Admission will be $4 for adults and students will get in free.
A heating system malfunction activated the high schools fire detection system. The school has been evacuated while our PC fire department makes sure the building is safe! Classes will resume again after a few more minutes. In the meantime, students are enjoying the sunshine and fresh air!
Friday’s football game at Pleasant Hope has been cancelled. Due to injuries and sickness the Pirates are forced to forfeit the game. The EAGLES will open districts at home on 11/1 against TBD.
There will be a Junior High Girls Basketball Parent meeting on Monday,October 21st, from 6:30-7:30pm in the high school cafeteria. If you are unable to attend you will need to setup a time to meet with Coach Curry individually.
Jh girls basketball practice will begin this Wednesday right after school. Practice will end at 5:30pm.
