📢 Optional Flu Shot Clinic at Pierce City School 💉
The Lawrence County Health Department will be at Pierce City Schools on Wednesday, November 5th, starting at 7:00 a.m. to provide flu shots or flu mist for students in grades 6–12.
💵 Cost: $9 per shot (cash or check made out to LCHD)
🩺 Current Medicaid card can be used to cover the cost
📝 Parent/guardian consent forms are required
Middle school students will be bringing home forms this week. High school students can pick up forms in the high school office or nurse’s office.

Our FFA members hosted Food for America for the elementary students! The kids learned all about agriculture, farm animals, and where their food comes from — all while having a great time with hands-on activities and demonstrations.

✨ Our 7th and 8th grade students had the opportunity to get an inside look at what it’s like to be a teacher! ✨
Students took part in fun, hands-on activities, explored different aspects of the teaching profession, and connected with College of Education faculty and students. They also enjoyed a guided campus tour and lunch in the university dining hall. 🍽️🎓
