🧑⚕️Immunizations 👩⚕️
The Lawrence County Health Department will be at the Pierce City High School on Friday, May 9th from 8:30-10:30am to provide immunizations for the incoming 8th graders and Seniors for the 2025-2026 school year. The immunizations required before school starts for incoming 8th graders are Meningococcal (MCV4) and Tdap; and Meningococcal (MCV4) for incoming Seniors. To be fully protected against Meningococcal disease, Seniors also need the Meningococcal B (MenB) vaccine that colleges may require.
The immunizations are $9 per shot or bring current Medicaid card to cover the cost of the immunizations.
The Immunization Consent and History form should be returned before Friday. Forms were already sent home and may be picked up at the nurse's or ms/hs office.

Elementary and middle school summer school forms may be picked up in the offices and should be returned as soon as possible.

🏆 Back-to-Back Champs! 🏆
Last night, the Pierce City Girls Track Team dominated the Southwest Conference meet and came out as back-to-back champions! 🥇 With an incredible team effort, they racked up 184 points across 19 events — well ahead of the 2nd place team, who finished with 109 points.
Way to go, Eagles!

📣 MAP Testing Update 📝
Middle School students will begin MAP Testing this Friday and will continue through next Thursday.
Grades 3–5 will also participate in MAP Testing next week.
Please ensure your child gets plenty of rest and arrives on time each day. Let's do our best!
