Pierce City Schools is partnering with Jordan Valley Health and Missouri State University to offer the following services for students this year. Participation is optional, and completed permission forms are required to receive services.

October 22 — Flu Vaccinations
For students in grades 6–12. Filed with insurance and Medicaid.

October 22 — Sports Physicals
For students in grades 6–12. Cost: $10. Pick up a packet in the nurse’s office or high school office and return it by the required deadline.

November 20 — MSU Vision Screenings
For students in grades K, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11. This service is free.

Date to Be Announced — MSU Hearing Screenings
For students in grades K, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12. This service is free.

December 8–10 — Jordan Valley Health Dental Exams and Treatment
For students in grades K–12. Filed with insurance and Medicaid.

December 15 — Jordan Valley Health Eye Exams
For students in grades K–12, with glasses available on site. Filed with insurance and Medicaid.

Jordan Valley Health service packets will be sent home Tuesday, October 13. Please review the packet for information about flu vaccinations, dental exams and eye exams. If you would like your child to participate, complete and return the required forms by the deadlines provided.
