Nationals in Louisville
Pierce City Archery delivered an outstanding performance at the National Tournament held in Louisville, Kentucky, where student-athletes competed against some of the top archers in the country. The High School Bullseye and 3D Archery teams both earned World Championship qualifying scores, capping off a strong season defined by focus, growth, and determination.
Strong Showing in 3D Archery
The 3D Archery team had a solid finish in a highly competitive field, placing 118th out of 225 teams nationwide. Several individuals also stood out for their exceptional performances:
Jesse Lombard ranked in the top 5% of male 3D archers nationally
Harper Merrit and Elizabeth Sharp both finished in the top 10% nationally
Bullseye Competition Highlights
In Bullseye competition, the team continued to demonstrate consistency and skill on the national stage, finishing 169th out of 262 teams.
Individual achievements included:
Harper Merrit earned a new personal best score and ranked in the top 4% nationally
Elizabeth Sharp finished in the top 5% nationally
Representing Pierce City with Pride
From start to finish, these student-athletes represented Pierce City with determination, discipline, and Eagle pride. Competing in Louisville against elite talent from across the nation, they demonstrated what hard work and dedication can accomplish at the highest level.
