Students Earn Top Honors at State Solo & Ensemble Competition

Students showcased their musical talent and dedication at the State Solo & Ensemble Competition, bringing home multiple high ratings and honors. Their performances reflected countless hours of practice and a strong commitment to excellence.

The Mixed Woodwind Quartet, made up of Kenyen Finley, Elizabeth Russo, Alyssa May, and Clara Hull, earned a Gold Rating for their performance.

Several students also received top individual honors. Elizabeth Russo earned a Gold Rating for her flute solo, while Kordel McBlair received a Gold Rating for his vocal solo. Clara Hull added to the success with a Gold Rating for her piano solo and also earned a Silver Rating for her flute solo. Alyssa May received a Silver Rating for her clarinet solo.

In addition to the individual performances, the Vocal Quartet—Harper Merritt, Isabell Wilcock, Karlea McBlair, and Kordel McBlair—earned a Silver Rating for their performance.
