Free Teen Mental Health First Aid Class Offered to Sophomores

Clark Center is once again offering a free Teen Mental Health First Aid class for sophomores this year. This voluntary course is designed to help students better understand mental health and learn practical skills to support themselves and others.

The class will consist of six sessions held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:45–11:30 a.m., beginning January 13. Two licensed mental health professionals from Clark Center will lead the sessions.

During the course, students will learn about mental health, the impact it can have on daily life, and healthy ways to manage mental well-being. The class will also cover available resources and help students understand who to turn to in the event of a mental health crisis.

This program provides students with valuable knowledge and tools to recognize mental health concerns and promote a supportive, informed school community.
