The Pierce City girls golf team hosted Purdy, Mt. Vernon, and Clever Monday afternoon at Windmill Ridge. Samantha Myers led us with a score of 115 with Myka Masters, Kali Stow, and Grace Hayes right behind her. They ended up taking 3rd place behind Purdy with an amazing score of 392, and Clever with a score of 479.

Coach Charles said this about how his team has fared this season, “Most of the girls can get off the tee box fairly well. Some don't hit the ball very far, but can usually get to the green in par or less. The veteran girls really need to work on their short game; performing well within about 30 yards of the green and putting is the best way to shave shots off the score.” He also added this about how the fall weather has treated them, “We have had really good weather to begin the season. Normally it is very hot and dry."

Their next match is September 9th and Purdy will be the host.
