Last Saturday, September 29th, the Pierce City Marching Eagles traveled to the 58th annual Black Walnut Festival to compete. That day the Marching Eagles came home with 2nd in their class by performing Distorted by Benoit Jutras for the judges. The music received a total points of 85 out of 100 and their marching was given 42 out of 50. With other scores from different areas all together they received a total of 173 points which led them to 2nd place that day.
This weekend on Oct. 6 the Marching Eagles are preparing for the MSSU homecoming parade in Joplin, MO hoping to do even better!
