The Junior High Eagles kicked off their season in the Diamond tournament. Their 1st game was against the Miller Cardinals as they won 35-16. Tory Davis led the charge with 11 points and Jake Perry followed with 10. In the following game they matched up with the Diamond Wildcats. The score was 34-22 going in the Wildcats favor. Tory Davis had 9 points followed by Jason Garner with 7, Ashton Medlin with 3, and both Jake Perry and Zane Clayton with a free throw. Free throws killed the Eagles as they were 5 for 22. The following game was supposed to be against Sarcoxie however it was cancelled due to snow.
The “B” team had the same schedule in the Diamond tournament. In the 1st game against Miller who they beat 36-16. Noah Henderson propelled the team with 16 points in the victory followed by Lane VanNote with 8. The next game was a close one against Diamond as they won 40-36. Henderson and VanNote led the charge with 15 and 6 followed by Richardson with 5, Raley with 4, and Witt with 2.
In their 1st non-tournament game the Eagles faced off against Diamond yet again. This time around the score favored Diamond again. The score was 37-16 Trey Davis led the scoring with 6 followed by Clayton O’Hara with 4.
