Each year, students in each grade select a service project for the holiday season. Here's a list of the organizations that have been selected this year.
Preschool - Sarcoxie Nursing Home
Kindergarten - Children's Center in Monett
1st Grade - Sammy's Window (a foster-care organization in Lawrence County)
2nd Grade - Children's Haven in Joplin
3rd Grade - FBC Food Pantry in Pierce City
4th Grade - Monett Animal Shelter
It is wonderful to help our children learn the value of giving back to the community in support of these organizations. Watch for a note from your child's teacher with more specific information about the items that we'll be collecting for each organization.
