The district golf tournament was held in Cassville Monday the 25th. It was a sunny day as nine teams compete for the top of the district. Cassville is a par seventy-two course with the front and back end par thirty-six’s.
Our girls placed sixth out of nine teams. Mt. Vernon got first followed by Butler, Purdy, Nevada, Bolivar, Pierce City, Stockton, and a tie between Clever and Seneca.
We have two girls that will be heading to Sectionals. Samantha Myers who was selected for the All District Team and shot a 107. As well as Kali Fenske who shot a 110 and places sixteenth overall.
Sectionals will be hosted in Nevada on Monday the 2nd. The weather is predicted to be 80s and sunny.
