Last Friday the Lady Eagles Golf team traveled to Clever to play a 9 hole match against Clever and Purdy. Samantha Myers lead the team with a score of 53 and 3rd overall, followed by Grace Hayes at a 60, Kali Stow and Becky Reber at a 70, and Hailey Greene at a 71. That tally ended up earning the girls a first place overall finish in their first match of the season. Samantha Myers was an All-State qualifier her Junior year in 2016.
The following Monday they played in Monett at Windmill Ridge Golf Course against Purdy. This time around, Purdy took 1st in 18 holes. Samantha Myers shot a 118 and Kali Stow shot a 132. Some of the Eagles were not feeling the best to play that day as the temperature reached the high 90s; some of our players along with some of the Purdy Eagles sat out of this competition.
Next match is set for August 28th in Monett, at Windmill Ridge.
